The Three–Tier Path to Wellness

At Zephyr, we revitalize your body, mind, and soul through both traditional and unconventional treatments. Our philosophy is based on a holistic approach to drug and alcohol addiction rehabilitation, offering you not just escape from substances, but a return to overall physical and mental health.

If diagnosed prior to admission, detoxification treatment for alcohol and drug addiction is administered within the first 48 hours of a resident’s arrival by our licensed medical staff. Patients under 18 must have a parent or guardian present for this process. Upon arrival at Zephyr, an individual assessment is made and the most beneficial protocol for each resident is developed from our extensive list of therapies. The Zephyr counseling staff is also equipped to treat coexisting illnesses, including eating disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, and gambling addiction. Your admissions counselor will help you identify which aspects of your life require treatment.

Treatment is administered on a simultaneous three–tier system. We find our holistic approach more conducive to recovery than those of competing programs based on phases of elapsed time.

Tier one treatment addresses the needs of your body, including diet, sleep, exercise, and medication for recovery. This treatment is administered by our licensed medical staff and personal trainers.

Tier two treatment addresses the needs of your mind, including exploration, adventure, and conquering fears. This treatment is administered by our Experiential Treatment facilitators.

Tier three treatment addresses the needs of your soul, including counseling and group therapy, as well as the meditative arts. This treatment is administered by our licensed counseling staff and spiritual gurus.
